Well, we made it through the first tech week for the Early French Masters recording.
We
can't do this kind of practice without the support of our bosses,
friends, spouses, and kids. They pick up as much of what we do during
the week as they can and every one of us is grateful.
On to the last week of rehearsals... which is when we do our best to breathe into the music our Love and Faith.
Most singers are aware that emotions are an important part of the process. It changes the color and tone in your voice and physical sensations in your body. So this is the time when we pay special attention to what our intentions are within each piece. And since every composer has their own style, we also have the joy of
discovering and then sharing all of that with the people who listen to
our music. What a gift!
